I had mentioned in passing that I brought a vintage frame with me from my last stay in Austria to build up as a fixed gear road bike ... Well, here is the result: ... The frame is from a Francesco Moser "San Cristobal" roadbike, circa (I think ) 1978. I got the frame from a friend of a friend and had a chance to try it when it was still a complete bike, so I knew it would fit me comfortably. The previous owner then stripped the frame of components and I mailed it to myself from Vienna, as
1971: a good Italian year for Gosta Pettersson! ... Love is this beautiful Ferretti blue from the Italian team's 1970 De Rosa replica team bike. What really is the point of, say, going to work, or cleaning the bathroom, or fastidiously grooming one's pubic hair, when eventually we will all meet the same end and be
Appeal of the Mavic Wintech May Be Seen in its Sender/Quick Release ... The French are renowned for their food. I don't think it was because of French Fries, which really have nothing at all to do with France, but the title WAS one of my favorite lines from "Breaking Away." ... My road bike has Mavic wheels and I'm looking for an affordable set of Ksyriums.
