Visited Seattle Bike Supply HQ last week for a look at their 2011 lines, including this new Torker Kickback. This was their most interesting new bike, besides the drop-bar Alfine, and here’s a quick look at it. Steel, Sturmey Archer ...
Masi’s new bikes are a spectacle of contrasts. On the one hand, you have this classic looking, double butted 8-speed cyclocross bike that looks to be a perfect commuter first, casual ‘cross racer second. It’s spec’d up with Shimano shifters and derailleurs, Kenda Small Block 8 ‘cross tires and a steel fork. Actually, it’s the [ ... ] ...

I found a few more glances of Cherubim frames. Its not often I can find images of his frames other than shots taken at Nahbs. The frames on the top photos are out of this world, such pieces of art. The frame in the bottom photo looks like a proper modern steel speed machine. Tig welded with fat stays & made from Cherubim designed tubing at Kasei. This frame comes in at only 1.3kg. Shit hot. Found here. ...
We will soon be receiving our first delivery of Singular Cycles frames. Singular is best known in the MTB world for their simple steel quality beauties but we're very excited to see what we can do with them in the city. For starters the Peregrine, their 700c frame on the bottom image, might be the most versatile frame I'v seen since the Surly Cross Check. Selling this for the dude who bought my White Nagasawa recently. Fucking thing is super sick and in IMMACULATE condition aside from the one nick on the TT pictured. Gilco Tubing and all the tastiness Colnago has to offer in it's high end classic lugged steel frame line. Check it out: ... Couple more pics on my flickr ... From what I gather from the interwebz is that it's a 56cm frame from 08'/09'. I think the TT is a 55cm. I'll update this if I can find some more info about the geo. In any
I opted for a smaller group this time, as you can tell. Almost half of the people who had initially said "Yes" to the ride bailed out yesterday (for completely legitimate reasons), leaving eight intrepid souls to take the ride. I'm bad with names, so I can't remember Drew's guests names, but there was also Badger, Darius, Eric, Ben and myself ... Eric was rocking his brand new Surly LHT, which he's just picked up. I'm jealous. More and more of my serious commuting friends have some kind of nice
