Monday Breakfast.

(That little bow on my dress usually lives in my hair, but I put it there when I have my helmet on)
Rode out to breakfast with the Scouts this morning. Kris wanted to get-together before he and fiancée Michelle took off for Banff.
One of the reasons Don, Kris, and Ben are such good friends is because they all lived within walking/biking distance of one another. Consequently, they generally went to the same schools, played on the same soccer teams, etc. It's easy to hang out with your friends when they're just a short ride away.
This dawned upon me when Ben rode the 2ish blocks over to the bungalow this morning (we now live in the neighbourhood where his parents still live). Then we all rode over to breakfast together.



Dexter loves milk foam.



He loves uncle Ben too.



After breakfast Don and I decided to take Dexter on a street car ride over the high level bridge.



We had to wait 15 minutes for the next one so we strolled around the corner and saw lots of preparations for the Fringe Festival.



Dexter practiced more walking.



The street car arrived!



So old-timey.
Don is a member of the Radial Railway Society so we have a family pass for the street car.

The view from the bridge. Most of the time I ride on the bridge in the bike lane, but today we were on top!



Fun times.



Exit to have a stroll around on the north side.



Then a fun ride home, transfer to bikes, and subsequent ride home.




And that's Monday so far.
